Current song. “Green Mountain State” by Trevor Hall.

My dearest and equally as obsessed with food as I am friend, Kelly Stern (@goldielockshawaii), recently asked me to share some recipes with olena (turmeric) to promote the massive plethora (I know that was a double standard, but I really needed to emphasize the large amount of organic, vibrant, beautiful turmeric we are talking about here) of turmeric they have growing on their farm at Yogarden Hawaii in Waimanalo.

This is Paul and Kelly. They are wonderful.

Soooo quick promotion… if you need turmeric or want to try using turmeric, you can order here:

It made me realize just how much I love turmeric. Not only for it’s enormity of healing properties, but it’s fairly mild in flavor so you can pretty much put it in ANYTHING you want for an extra super kick and my favorite quality, it’s freakin’ beautiful. It makes anything pop with more color. And I am all about colors. Which is the wonderful and magnificent thing about REAL food that hasn’t been messed with. Organic, non GMO, naturally grown, real food right from the dirt is so vibrant and full of life. It makes your plate alive, it makes your body alive, and it makes your soul alive.

It’s a beautiful thing.

Here’s my recipe for Turmeric Tahini Dressing you can drizzle, dip, or spread on just about anything.

The flavors are so good with salads, Buddha bowls, mediterranean, eggs, veggies of all kinds, chips, steak, and I can keep going.

And it’s just really fun to drizzle all over everything.

Happy drizzling, dipping, spreading, smothering on everything, and just looking at.
